Business English
In business, is it more valuable to have an English minor or a French minor?
I am going to go into business (probably finance) in college. I’m going to double minor. One of my minors will be business related and I wanted to minor in English as well to show that I have communication skills and I’m well-rounded etc. However, I’m starting to think a minor in a foreign language would be better. I know French is the language to have in business so English or French?
It’s a toss up for me. I don’t know much about business, but I do know that English is a more common language in the world than French is, next to Chinese and Spanish. However, it would be more interesting and you would be more well rounded (in my eyes) if you chose to get a minor in French.
But if you’re going to double minor, why not do both?
